Really pleased with my order. I’d been trying to find this wool in the specific colour and almost everywhere else was sold out, but Black Sheep Wools still had a stock. Ordering was quick and no hassle at all. I’d definitely use them again.

The yarn itself was okay overall, but it was a bit scratchier than I expected. Also, the way it arrived made it seem like it hadn’t been handled very carefully, which was disappointing...

I like the rewards overall, they’re handy and easy to use. My only thing is the points take a little while to update, which can be kinda annoying when you’re checking right after a purchase. Not a huge deal tho...

The wool showed up fine and everything inside was safe, which was the main thing. I ordered it for a little project I’ve been meaning to start while watching TV in the evenings, so I was glad it wasn’t damaged. The packaging did its job, but the outer box was a little bashed when it arrived. Not a huge issue, just not perfect.

I ordered from blacksheepwools.com and ended up having to return the item, but getting my refund back was ridiculous. I kept checking my bank over and over, and they barely gave me any proper updates, so I was just left waiting. it felt like they were dragging their feet, and that’s on them. Maybe other people have had a smoother time, but my experience was annoying enough that I definitely wouldn’t be in a hurry to order again

I ordered some yarn for click and collect and got the email the next day, so that part was easy. The staff were nice enough when I went in, but I did have to stand around at the counter for a bit. I feel like these click and collect things always end up having some kind of wait, no matter where you go. Overall it wasn’t bad, just could’ve been a bit smoother.

They had a really nice range of craft bits to choose from, and I managed to find most of what I was looking for. Worth a look if you’re picking up supplies for a project.

Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t find many patterns I actually liked. The yarn seemed fine, so no real issue there, but the patterns felt kind of repetitive and just not really my style. I kept wondering if I was missing something, because I expected a bit more variety.

I was let down by what I got for the price. The wool itself was fine, not terrible or anything, but for what they’re charging I expected it to feel a bit more special or at least get a little more of it.
Then postage got added on top and I was just like, give me a break. I’ve bought similar yarn elsewhere for less, so I can’t really see myself ordering again.

I popped into Black Sheep Wools today after doing a few errands nearby, and it turned into such a nice visit. I only meant to have a quick look, but ended up browsing for ages because there was so much to choose from. The staff were really friendly without hovering over me, which I always appreciate, and they helped me pick out the right wool for the blanket I’m working on. I’ve been trying to get the colours just right, so it was nice to have a bit of help. Definitely planning to go back.

I was happy with the prices here, especially compared with a few other wool shops I’d been browsing. It reminded me of going yarn shopping with my mum years ago, trying to find the best colors without spending too much. Delivery was okay, not especially fast, but it arrived fine. My only real issue was the website, which felt a bit clunky and could definitely be easier to use. Overall, good, just not perfect.

They’ve got a decent mix of yarns and little bits and pieces, so it’s good for a browse. But a few of the colours I was after were either missing or out of stock, which was a bit annoying. It’s fine, just... not always the range I need when I’ve got a specific project in mind.

I’ve ordered from Black Sheep Wools a few times now and the delivery has been really reliable every time.
The emails come through quickly the tracking works fine and my parcels have always arrived when expected. Nothing has gone missing or turned up damaged either.
It’s just nice not having to chase anything especially when I’m waiting on yarn for a project. Really happy with the service.

I ordered from Black Sheep Wools and had a question about yarn substitutes, but the reply I got didn’t really clear things up. They were polite enough, so it wasn’t a rude experience or anything, but it felt like the goalposts kept moving a bit with what would actually work as a substitute.

In the end I had to go and look it all up myself, which was frustrating when I’d specifically asked the shop for help. Not a terrible experience, but I did expect a bit more confidence and proper knowledge from a wool shop.
